This is made for his upcoming exhibition Hi & Lo. Kaikai kiki flowers are on the low on the jeans.

So I was browsing our good friend MiYU's blog and came across a dope interview with Japanese photographer Yasumasa Yonehara a.k.a Yone that she had posted a while back. This man has been around for a while, and I have been a fan of his work for many years. Watching this interview helped me understand Yone's creativity and the story behind his photos a little bit better. I've seen many try to imitate his work, but have never come close. You may have seen some of his work, some with KiksTyo.

Here is an amazing invention by Woody Norris. While I was in school for recording engineering about two years ago our teacher talked about this device that can control sound. Not just by being able to turn the volume up or down, or messing with the eq, but can actually control/direct/aim the sound waves to a specific spot. Imagine walking through a grocery store and suddenly hear a full quality sounding advertisement. You then take one step forward and you don't hear it at all, nothing, not even a hint or echo of the advertisement. So you take one step back and there it is again, a full high quality sounding advertisement. You stand there and ask the person next to you if they hear it too, but they don't. If this has happened to you, don't worry you're not crazy, luckily you've just experienced once of the newest most innovative devices in sound.

D1 Grand Prix USA Professional Drift

Its almost here. Our homie David Lu informed me that the D1 Grand Prix USA Professional Drift will be held Sept 5th at Englishtown Raceway in New Jersey. I can't wait to be there. There is nothing like the loud sounds of screeching tires, the smell of burning rubber, and the sound and feel of strong bass vibration from car exhaust pipes. If any one else plans on going or has entered as a driver hit us up and let us know. Check out this dope video by Joshua Herron of the first stop in the 2009 D1GP USA series at Anaheim Stadium.

Road Trip!!!

Its about that time again. Clear skys, a full tank of gas, and a good friends birthday landing on a warm weekend (Happy Birthday Cook!). Me and some of the FT crew will be on our first official road trip. Making our way through New Jersey, Baltimore Maryland and finishing up in Washington D.C. , we'll say hello to Obama for you guys. We'll be hitting up all the local boutiques as well as friends and family, and shaking a leg at a few night spots. Unfortunately we won't be able to record any of the festivities, but there will be many pics that will tell the story. I have a feeling there are going to be a lot of hangovers, puke, and the occasional "Where is 'Waldo'?" scares. This weekend will more than likely be a mix of the movie "Road Trip" and "The Hangover" with a little pinch of "Super Bad". This is going to be a great weekend.

A dope Japanese group, Last Alliance, released this song called Hekireki as the theme song to an Anime named "Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger"

The band is on like their 5th album, and they have done songs for other Anime as well. I Love the group and you can't doubt their musicianship and art. Even if you can't understand a word they are saying, but they do have some English as well. Anyway the song's a classic check it out and other songs on their MySpace.

The Anime was released from 2000 to 2002, then tittled "Hajime no Ippo" has re-released as a continuation in Jan 2009. That's a long time to be flowing an Anime, haha but it's good. It's about a Japanese high school student who wants to know what it means to be strong. It follows his journey to become the world champion in boxing!

As I been checking out these games for the past couple of weeks I see that the finals are going to be interested. I see the Cavs coming out of the East with no question about it, and either the Nuggets or the Lakers out the West. The funny part is that I already know the winner of it all, and thats the Cavs. The economy is all messed up, and the NBA needs money (lol...thats funny)...So everything is already set for the Cavs to win it all. If you see different...ok...but everything is pretty predictable.

I don't like too futuristc or many CG action movie but this is something you might want to check.

The story is about a power game in the era more than 500 years ago in Japan.
scheme, war, destiny and love...

Kiriya has done many music videos or CD cover as a director. He debut as a movie director in 2004 for Casshern. He has created his own world.
He had started to plot out this movie GOEMON 5 years ago so it means when he debut as a director in 2004, he already has this in his mind..
The filming took 3 years and editing took 1 year to finish. The whole scene was shooted in a studio of green screan.
The cast is gorgeous. The actress "Ryoko Hirosue" act a roll in grammy winning japanese movie Depauturs as well.

In addition, the director Kiriya is former husband of Utada Hikaru. He directed her music video "Traveling". His talent in CG graphics is said amazing.

So I would like to take some time out to introduce a every good personal friend of mine to the famous wall of the "Bloggers"!*echo-echo-echo*. My homie Marc Francois is now apart of the FT crew. I planned on adding him a lot sooner but keep forgetting. Me and Marc went to college together (along with Cook) and partied like no other. I remember one night during finals we partied Wednesday night Thursday night Friday night Saturday night and Sunday night, and still passed finals on Monday morning! Thanks to MiYU's last post I couldn't get Cold Stone out my head haha. I haven't had their ice cream in so long, and I honestly forgot how great it was. So me and my brother decided to run over to The Plaza and get some. They didn't have the Green Tea flavor that MiYU was talking about but they did have CheeseCake which I've never tried, plus I added Oreos in it. I must say I am a Cold Stone addict again. It's all your fault MiYU!...haha

Thanks to speedy delivery from FedEx's over-night shipping I finally got my new phone today. It's kind of a down grade from my Blackberry and Audiovox XV6600...boy do I miss my Audiovox XV6600, but the Verizon Blitz that I got gets the job done. Plus its within my budget. I'd never thought I would have a budget, but seeing how the economy is it's good to have one. The Blitz takes care of all my needs, email, im's, and texting with out the high priced billing of a PDA and the expensive cost of a smart phone for its design.

So I had been craving for this new spring flavor from Cold Stone! I went there with my home girl after work<3
It was yummmmy! New green tea colab with purple potato was amazing! I gotta try another flavor with cheese cake too!!

This is Yokohama. Second biggest city following Tokyo in Japan. There is a port where the Perry ship first arrived in. Yokohama port. This year it's 150th Anniversary since the port has opened. I am sure many visitors would come to Yokohama.

Yesterday we decided to have a small little cook out, seeing as though it was a beautiful day out (before we started the grill). The food was great, and the laughs were amazing! I haven't laughed so hard in the longest time. We still had a lot of left overs so we decided to have part two this coming weekend. Might invite a lot more people this time.
